My Story
I was born and raised in Park Ridge, IL just outside the city of Chicago. As a kid I made every excuse in the world to not play golf, but at around 13 years old I caught “the bug” and haven’t put my clubs down since. I grew up playing at Park Ridge CC with family and friends and could not be more grateful for the people I have met along the way.
I attended high school at Northridge Prep in Niles and graduated in 2016. After graduating high school I decided not to play college golf as I wanted to pursue a degree in Engineering and could not find a school to fit both needs. I attended Miami University and received a degree in Manufacturing Engineering. While at school I was able to compete on the club team and met some of my best friends for life. Each semester we played in the Club Golf National Championship and I was able to get a great balance of competitive golf and life as a college kid.
After graduating Miami University in 2020, I began working in strategy consulting at Capgemini Invent. This was a critical point in my life as I entered the workforce and started to realize that my competitive golf career may be limited to PTO days and weekends.
I quit my job in April of 2022 to pursue my dream of playing professional golf. I couldn’t be happier and more grateful for the opportunity to do what I love for a living. I know the path is not easy but like my father always told me, “One shot at a time”.
Words I live by
“Failure is an opportunity”
- I’ve come to embrace failure as failure is only how you define it. For me failure means there is something to be learned and something to improve on which is always exciting.
“It’s just golf”
- Although golf is my job and my passion, there is so much more to life than golf. At the end of the day it’s just a sport and there are things far more important across all aspects of life.
“1% better every day”
- Progress and improvement is not a result of short, quick efforts. It is constantly working and striving for improvement that breeds success and why I strive to be 1% better every day.
